About Albrecht Wolfmeyer
Albrecht Wolfmeyer is Director the ProVeg Incubator, the world's first accelerator program for startups developing plant-based, fermented and cultivated foods. The ProVeg Incubator has invested in over 50 startups from around the world, and the program's alumni have raised over €300 million. In the summer of 2023, the ProVeg Incubator launched a new program specifically for social startups and non-profit initiatives. The ProVeg Incubator is part of the nutrition organization ProVeg International.
Albrecht Wolfmeyer is an expert in startup investments, alternative proteins, fundraising, strategy and communication. Before joining ProVeg, he worked in international companies and associations, founded a social startup and worked as a journalist. Wolfmeyer studied not-for-profit management and social sciences in Berlin, Toronto, Paris and Fribourg/Switzerland. He speaks German, English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
