Anuga Creative Kitchen

The new special show in Hall 7 will offer interested trade visitors an especially pleasant way to acquire knowledge. In a process that could be described as "à la carte” because it involves fine food and selected wines, they can find out about the latest developments and trends in the catering trade at the Anuga Creative Kitchen. Here, approximately 30 leading companies will be presenting a nonstop show on an area of more than 600 square metres that reveals how successful catering functions today. The show will span all product ranges in a venue that could be characterised as a "transparent restaurant".
The visitors sitting at the 120 carefully designed place settings will have an ideal opportunity to examine the 20-metre-long open show kitchen, the glassed-in dishwashing centre and the bar and cocktail area, where barista and cocktail presentations will take place.

Whether it's a question of making 100 pizzas in five minutes, taking a look at what is probably the world's smallest portable kitchen, or finding out about do-it-yourself convenience foods or the latest trends in coffee — there's something for everyone in the Anuga Creative Kitchen. More than ever before, the sector needs concepts for dealing with the major obstacles that will be facing it in the years ahead: energy prices, the lack of trained personnel, and kitchens that are growing smaller and smaller.
